Every month we have a variety of ongoing activities and special events. Our clubs allow members to have fun and make friends in smaller groups. Our monthly coffees give you the chance to socialize and meet new people. Our tours help you discover Bucharest.

    Monday Arts & Crafts Series


    PORTAL ART Experience is an art therapy that lets your imagination play with colors and helps you connect with yourself, get rid of your negative emotions using colors or simply paint what you feel. You will learn the basics of colors, the elements of the PORTAL and different techniques that will help you focus on your intention and express your feeling on your paper. 


    No painting skills required as this course is for anyone interested in exploring creativity by painting and wellness and to be open to herself and her feelings. All materials are provided, and at the end you take your painting with you.


    Our guide will be Anca Irina Lefter. Anca is a Romanian artist and bag designer who started to be interested in well being. She has completed the Theta Healing course. Her first personal art project that applied her new knowledge was Portal: click here

    • cost: 150 RON member / 170 RON non-member
      (50 RON will be donated to IWA; the rest will cover the painting materials costs & the artist.)

    In a departure from our virtual travels, the Cultural Kaleidoscope takes us on an 8-day-long trip to discover the vibrant cultures and tropical landscapes of Ghana, on the west  coast of Africa.

    From the cacophony of bustling markets, to artisan handicrafts, time-honoured traditions and a storied colonial past, Ghana offers the adventurous traveller fertile ground for exploration. Gladys Abankwa-Meier-Klodt will share some of her favourite experiences with  on an 8-day-long trip.
