HOW TO APPLY FOR AN IWA CHARITY GRANT
✅ Eligibility Criteria
To apply, your organization must meet all of the following:
- Be an NGO registered in Romania.
- Have at least 2 years of activity.
- Propose a short-term project (max. 4 months duration).
- Project must benefit underserved or disenfranchised groups of people in Romania.
- Project must take place within 60 km of Bucharest.
- Maximum grant allowed: 25,000 RON.
- No repeat applications for 2 years after receiving a previous grant.
❌ IWA does NOT fund:

Salaries
- Training
- Rent, utilities, or other recurring costs
- Vehicles
- Projects that promote a religion, ideology, or discriminate against any vulnerable groups

How to Apply
1. Check the Charity Committee funding priorities for the current year (click for details).
2. Access the IWA Charity Grant Application Form.
3. Complete the application with details about:
- Your organization
- Project description
- Budget
- Timeline
- Expected impact
4. Notify us of submitting the application via email: iwa.charity@gmail.com

What Happens Next?
- If your application is accepted for review, IWA Charity Committee members will visit your site.
- They will assess eligibility, project feasibility, and verify implementation (if approved).
- Members of the Committee will vote on funding your project at the next meeting after the initial site visit.
- You will be informed if your grant request has been approved or rejected.
