IWA supports charitable organizations in the greater Bucharest area by providing grants for short-term projects improving the thelives of disadvantaged people.

The IWA Charity Committee evaluates the grant applications, nominates recipients following strict criteria and audits the implementation.
Areas of impact (children, elderly, social projects, people with disabilities, domestic abuse victims, homeless, and other disadvantaged people).
Special focus to one big initiative is selected annually.

We are volunteers and always looking for helping hands.

JOIN THE IWA CHARITY COMMITTEE

All IWA members are invited to participate in our Charity Committee. We meet monthly from September through June, usually on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, to review grant requests and funded programs. We’d be happy to explain how we work and would love to have you join us.
