| The IWA Charity Christmas Bazaar is the biggest IWA fundraising event of the year. It is an annual celebration where volunteers from over 46 countries create a festive, intercultural experience filled with traditional foods, unique gifts, and vibrant performances, all to support charitable causes and foster the spirit of giving. IWA 45 SAPPHIRE ANNIVERSARY GALA |
| The Sapphire 45th Anniversary Gala was a magical celebration of IWA’s pillars - intercultural relations, Romanian discovery, and charity - featuring dazzling entertainment, a charitable auction, and an elegant black-tie atmosphere at the Grand Hotel Bucharest. The proceeds supporting Casa Ioana in its mission to aid women and children facing homelessness and domestic violence. |

| Uniting Women Worldwide to Support Women in Romania Inspired by Dostoyevsky’s belief that “Beauty will save the world,” the Bucharest Charity Fashion Show showcased six stunning collections from Romanian designers to support Fundatia Regina Maria (FRM). Funds raised at the event have been donated to provide essential medical services for approximately 1,200 women in need, including exams, mammograms, and medication, and to establish two new dental clinics. The event brought together 300 distinguished guests from business, diplomacy, and media for an evening of fashion, networking, and meaningful impact. |
IWA Venice Carnival Ball 2020 Brings Hope Where NeededIn support of street children of Bucharest |
| Venetian Carnival Ball for Bucharest’s Street Children On February 8, 2020, the International Women’s Association of Bucharest hosted Bucharest's first Venetian Carnival Ball at Palatul Bragadiru. This magical evening raised funds to fully support Parada Foundation’s purchase of a new heating system for its facilities aiding street children. Guests enjoyed a glamorous night filled with surprises, including performances by National Opera singers Egle and Vasile ChiČ™iu, and an enchanting dance display by Baletul IUNO. Hosted by TV presenter Claudiu Popa, the evening was filled with waltzing, mystique, and unforgettable entertainment. |
