IWA community is recommending a walking tour done by Ursula Fait:
"Here is the first tour of 2025: in two monumental cemeteries built in the same area, one with the victims of the Roman Revolution of 1989 and Bellu cemetery, the most famous in Bucharest, surrounded by nature.
Unexpected stories of ghosts, murderers, nobles and businessmen, strange family intrigues, told in sculptures and funerary monuments.
The oldest Muslim mosque and the Sephardic Jewish cemetery are nearby.
As winter is no longer winter, who knows what the weather will be!
But except for the rain even if it snows it's fine.
We can stop for a coffee break in a OMV gas station near by, after a couple of hours.
