On July 6, we celebrate Lithuanian Statehood Day, marking the coronation of Mindaugas, Lithuania’s first and only king. In 1253, he unified the Baltic tribes and quite literally put Lithuania on the map.
To honor this day, rich in historical meaning and national pride, we invite you to a special Lithuanian culinary evening, filled with authentic food, traditional drinks, and a festive atmosphere.
Užkandžiai – traditional snacks with black bread, herring, garlic, and cheese
Kibinas with chicken and mushrooms – a hearty pastry inspired by Karaim cuisine
Šaltibarščiai – cold beetroot soup with yogurt and herbs
Cepelinai – potato dumplings with meat, the nation’s favorite dish
Šakotis – the iconic tree-shaped layered cake
Fruit jelly & Sūrelis – sweet treats made with fresh cheese
Gira (kvass) – fermented drink with black bread flavor
Lithuanian Vodka – pure, bold, and crisp
Dainava – berry-based liqueur
Alita Classic Brut – a sparkling wine worth a royal toast
Suktinis – traditional honey and spice liqueur
A unifier, diplomat, and (for a time) a devout Christian, Mindaugas was crowned in 1253 with the Pope’s blessing, transforming Lithuania from a group of tribes into a recognized European state. Today, he stands as a powerful symbol of independence, national identity, and Baltic resilience.
Nesvarbu, kad nesi lietuvis – everyone is welcome!
Book your seat now and come discover why Lithuanians take pride in their king, their cuisine, and their traditions. Spoiler: you’ll love it too.
